2000 Z71 5.3 ABS issues

Both lights come on during most every drive and the check engine light has decided to stay on as well with quite a few codes. mild research has indicated a link between the two can anyone here help with verification of this? Also can the ABS unit be rebuilt? Is this in the harness or the unit. Thanks in advance I appreciate any help.

with these failure lamp issues step one is GET THE DTC FAILURE CODES !

THEN POST back your findings...this will then get you started in taking care of the componet failures...

troubleshooting by using common failure componet issues is a crap shoot...............to guess at whats bad..

need codes .........

I finally got a list of the codes my truck is throwing:

[PCM] P0154 - HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 2 Sensor 1 (SES)
(Old) (History) (Immature)
[PCM] P0155 - HO2S Heater Performance Bank 2 Sensor 1 (SES) (Old)
(History) (Current) (Immature)
[PCM] P0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1 (Old) (Immature) [PCM] P0174 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2 (Old) (History) (Immature) [Brake] C0245 - Wheel Speed Sensor Frequency Error (History) [Brake] C0265 - or C0266 EBCM Relay Circuit (History) [Brake] C0241 - EBCM Control Valve Circuit (History) [Brake] C0251 - (History) [Brake] C0242 - (History) [Brake] C0252 - (History) [Brake] C0246 - (History) [Brake] C0281 - Brake Switch Circuit (History) [Brake] C0269 - or C0274 Excessive Dump/Isolation Time (History

since you have the frequency error code I would check the front wheel sensor wires, also the voltage at the sensor connector when rotating the wheel ..with the wheel spinning by hand at a good rate you should get 450 MV AC >>>thats about 1/2 volt ac..then compare to the other front wheel should be close...

this may mean just a simple cleaning of the rust on the metal surface that the sensor sits on , or the wheel bearing is breaking down fouling the sensor pick up inside the hub bearing hole..
