Turbo on my 4th Gen ZC/ No starter?
I read that I could use a Turbo Kit for a 92-95 VTEC for my ZC motor. I was wondering if there are any more year and type kits I could use for turbo for my ZC. for example.: turbo from 86-89 teg?
Also, when my ZC motor and arrived and I unwrapped it like a kid on christmas morning, I noticed that it didn't come with a starter. Can I use the starter from my d15, or should I swipe one off of an SI?

as far as the kit...the 92-95 is your best bet...it was actually originally designed for the zc..and minimal modification is necessary..I helped CWBETB do his and it was pretty straightforward...
as far as the starter..your d15 starter should bolt right up..

you could always do what is called a "junkyard" set-up. here is some nfo . he actually just sent me the dyno he did on Oct 14th for his zc running 10 psi....max power was 178.1 and max torque was 176.7! :flash:

No.... no one make's kit's for the ZC but DRAG does make a hybrid kit for the ZC you'll have to call them and order it but it's like $3,000.00 + for the special kit. Here's the story about the Greddy that I've told many and is true. The greddy kit when brought out in japan was designed and made for the ZC but when greddy decided to bring the kit to the U.S.A. the ZC wasn't a production motor here in car's that people were modifying at the time and greddy only make kit's for car's with the factory motor in them so they adpated it to the next best motor that came from the factory here at the time which is the SOHC V-TEC motor. if you re-locate your battery the piping will bolt up fine except for the pipe going from the turbo to the intercooler ( you'll have to buy one's cause greddy doesn't include a intercooler in their kit ) the other stuff will work fine when bolting it up. Also remeber you'll have to port match the exhaust manifold whole's to line up on the ZC if not they will leak. Some companies say they sell kit's for 88'-91' civic's/crx's but it's the same kit as for the 92' and up civic's and you'll just have to go threw the same hassel so don't lwaste your time looking for a 4th gen kit. I know for a fact the down pipe will work cause I'm runnin a 92' ex down pipe on my ZC header and my friend made the greddy kit work on his ZC.
