Aftermarket Wheels

Hi Guys

I'm quite new to this list, just reading it for the last month or so.

Where do you get aftermarket wheels for Tamiya 1:24 cars from?
or is it just a case of buying another kit with the wheels you want.

hey steve, welcome to AF
very cool cars/bikes, I like the blue bike, very nice.
You can get aftermarket wheels...without buying another kit, I don't have any places to tell you cause I haven't looked much, but I know you can get them.

And where ya from?

You can buy Aoshima and Fujimi at most online hobby site
like hlj.com, hobby search, etc

There are also other wheels like those Pegases 19". I don't remember all of them. Someone give me a hand

BTW, love your models

I go to local store to get the rims.
They have a good selections for the rims and tools.
If you not live in LA, you can buy from their site.

Check out our site. www.mas-parts.com
It's still in the process of being updated but we manufacture turned aluminum and photo etched rims and trim rings for any tire you want to use. If you have any questions just ask.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.

There's no chance of getting hold of these wheels in the UK, the best places to get them is from the Jap online stores;

Hobby Search
HLJ
Hobby World

...All come highly recommended, typically you will wait about 2 weeks for your order.

Yeah Chris how about it?
Will you be doing wheels/tyres in the future?
'cos I want your F&F Supra kit when it's done and I have no way of getting stuff from any of the foreign on-line stores!!
No Credit card makes it impossible!!

I had planned to do them all along and they would have been amongst my current range of products if i hadn't been let down by the person making them - long story . I'd rather pay to have them made for me as they require more time than i can give. I have recently found a UK company that can do them so i may make some arangements soon.
