99 Park Avenue - dies in warm weather

All winter the problem went away but now the weather is warm and the car will be running great and cruising along at 40mph or even on the freeway and it will just DIE. You have to steer for the side of the road and pray! Sometimes it will start but most often you have to wait.
Ideas???

Usually, the Crank Position Sensor causes this type of problem. It could also be the Ignition Control Module (ICM) as both can be heat sensitive. If you have the original CKPS, it is time for a new one anyway.

most common problem with the 3.8 is the crank position sensor this will cause this trouble any codes or a check engine light take it to auto zone they will do a free scan or fuel pump going bad check fuel pressure you can rent the tool from auto zone they can give you the spec on that
