The V8 Series is a points championship road racing series for super fast, ground pounding GT and

sportsmen drivers. Some of the top running GT and stock cars in the series are capable of speeds over

V8 Series racers' like former Grand Am Champ Dave Machavern, American road racing icon
Gene Felton, and former SCCA World Challenge GT racer Charles Wicht will excite the fans
as they hang it out on the challenging circuit on the river.

While you're there, make time for all the historic venues Savannah has to offer:
Trolley Tours, River Tours, Ghost Tours and Cultural Tours. Savannah is a hot-bed of historic sights includng the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist - "truly breathtaking, a masterpiece". Don't forget to make time for Paula Deen's restaurant too.

The HSR race events will feature the IMSA Classic Series highlighting the early years of IMSA before the GTP era including Porsches, Dekon Monzas, Corvettes and other production based cars.
Also featured at the Savannah Historic Races will be the B.O.S.S. series including Fm. Atlantic and Fm. 2, Historic Stock Cars and all HSR classes in qualifying and feature races. This is a points race for HSR.
