Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM 2000 Team D2

Hi Guys

Thought I'd share with you my latest build - Tamiya 24234 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM 2000 Team D2 - Here is what I did this week...

I actually painted the main body a while ago because I wanted to test some new Zero silver paint from Hiroboy...

The body has had a light coat of zero 1k clear coat - after decals have been applied another layer of clear will be added.

Next, is all the other parts the make up the body, I also used some 'Key & Clean' by Zero, I love this product - its great for body preparation.

Whilst trying to deepen some of the panel lines on the rear bumper the blade accidentally slipped ... luckily I had some Tamiya putty on hand to make things right...

Time to mix in the key 'n' clean!

Once all the key 'n' clean had been washed off I left the parts in a container to dry, ready for a coat of grey primer!
