My 95 max stalls about 20 minutes after warming it up. Normally stalls while waiting for light or in traffic. Never able to restart right away. Most of the time I pick it up later and immeditally drive it home. Any ideas ?:flash:

I can give you something to check. Check your crank reference signal, it should be at 180 degrees when starting. I hope this is helpful.

Looks like you have a vacuum leak on one of the lines that go to the intake manifold, open the hood and lean over, and try to hear a swish, if you can locate it , and replace the rubber line, then youre set

I have a '95 also and about a month ago, I was having similar problems. If I were you, I'll go to a junk yard and ask if they have a mass air meter for 95 - '99 it should cost no more that $70.00. Try this first before going to the dealership. I went to them, and was charged $80 for diognosis and $210 to clean out my fuel system, the meter and to reset the idle on the meter. This did not fix the problem. I took it back, and they said I will have to replace the meter itself and for that, $488. I tried the junkyard and found one from a '96 for $66+tax. Ever since it has not died on me again.
