how did you draw the decals? did you make them completely from scratch?

Yes,all the decal are scratchbuild (including the ones for tyres and rims). Many many thank u to my friend Andrea, a good friend and a great pc designer.If I can make such models is only thanks to him and his patience in these works.

I'm ending the model (seems we did it!

).
I add also the 2 little springs for the back, and also fixed in position the main wing using cianoactilate (in points) and vinyl glue thinnered in water,to be sure the glue will be resistant, and dry vinilic white glue is much more resistant than cyano.
During this final part, I damaged the right side window, so had to open again the car to replace it with a new (and better printed also) one.

Little update on this thread.

Seems the photoshop picture I made to fake tamiya "new"

model is turning the whole world.
I have been mailed from too many fellows around the globe asking for this tamiya box. I really dont exclude the Tamiya company had a look at it, for sure is an idea (this has been told me by Italian tamiya dealer).
Last call was today...the wife of another concurrent of the Campionato Italiano wanted it.....2010 season car of his cousin

(this year many other gentleman drivers have this BMW gtr).
Nearly all pilots love this car,many many of theme dream for a model of it.

Shame on me not to have copied the body at the time. I simply didnt thought the italian GTR version could be so interesting...and for so many many bimmers around.

Just hope at least to buy the GT2 body the next year,even if it is quite different from this one.
Many other pilots asked me to scrap the car and rebuild it in their personal livery, but I am not of the idea

It is really a pleasure to see this bmw in its showcase between other cars
