Yamaha Vmax 1200

This motorcycle is in progress, but I'm waiting for a set of photoetch, for detailing the engine.

This is the model, and as usual, a primer on all parts.

Here, replacement of a few stems of hypodermic needles.

Improving the fuel tank, and installing the framework. Also did some electrical parts.

The wheels, already painted black semi matte.

A few more details and some pieces painted in chrome.

Now, let's go paint the fairing, my idea is to make the Vmax of 50th anniversary of Yamaha's Valentino Rossi in version.

As I had a problem on the cover of the tank, I decided to improve the painting, leaving more like the M1 birthday.

Making the exhaust and installing the front fender.

Here, the brake calipers.

Putting a few more screws.

I hope that my pieces will soon, so you can return to this assembly.

Re: Yamaha Vmax 1200

That is some excellent, EXCELLENT work there my friend, I'm jealous! The attention to detail and time you have obviously put into this bike is amazing and it's certainly been worth it. Cant wait to see some more progress!!

One of these days I will post some pictures of my many WIP but it all pales in comparison to this!!

One question, what paint did you use for the chrome work, it's as real as it gets ..

Re: Yamaha Vmax 1200

My photoetch arrived, now I can continue this installation.

Putting photoetch radiator.

I had a problem with my camera , so I could not do a step by step, the photoetch after shooting some pictures of the details that appear.

Meanwhile following as the Motorcycle will be.

Some details in photoetch.

Brake discs in photoetch, sanded to give more realism.

Now the model ready.
