Need advice on a vehicle choice for long distance driving?
Hello everybody,
I want to purchase an SUV but need to know what's the best one to get at a reasonable price... Preferable Toyota but with all these "stuck gas pedals" problems, I don't know. Needs to be a quiet ride, good on gas, not necessarily four wheel drive, needed for weekly long distance driving only. I have my corolla for the short distances... Thanks Corolla fans! I have no problems driving my Toyota every day. The highlander wouldn't be a bad option.

Re: Need advice on a vehicle choice for long distance driving?
I've moved this to the nonspecific forum.
If you want to avoid the "sticky pedal" issue, go with a pre-2003 Highlander. They're based on the Camry platform, so you'll get a nice ride and good economy.
