Only reason i caught this was because i have a dual plain intake and fuel was shooting out of the drivers side cylinder bank side of the throttle body, took the valve covers off to investigate and confirmed my problem. I searched the internet and I'm not the first that had this problem from comp and their retro hydraulic roller lifters.
Anyways just thought i'd let you all know. i dont know how i dident catch this the first time i set the valves, Atleast i know now..

Pretty hard for the computer to do it's thing when there are mechanical issues. I have seen valves adjusted too tight cause these kind of issues.
Glad you figured it out. How does it run now? That 383 should make that truck fun to drive!
