how to remove rear bearing hub 2000 gp gt

I did the search thing and did not come up with the answer so here goes. 2000 Grand Prix GT 3.8. I messed up two of the lug nut studs and need to replace them. I can't get the hub off the car. Took the caliper and rotor off along with the four 10mm bolts for the bearing but the hub won't move. Can someone give me instructions for its removal? Are there any other things i should be concerned about removing the hub, abs, sped sensor? thanks

Yes there is an ABS plug on the back of the hub in the center. Other than that since you live in wisconsin, use plenty of PB blaster and a big hammer.

Or you could just replace the studs instead of the whole wheel bearing....

Thank you for the reply. Thats what i want to do, just replace the studs. So just put some PB blaster in where the four bolts are, unplug the wires and use a big hammer to get it out, correct? thanks

That or a wheel bearing puller. Leave it soak on panther piss for a while.

When you put the new one on, make sure you sand all the rust off, and before it goes together, it might be a good idea to spead a thin layer of anti-sieze on the mating surfaces so if you ever have to do it again, it will fall off in your hands.

Don't forget the hub bearing nut. That has to be removed to pull the bearing from the half-shaft.
