sounds like a relay the injector probably isnt really coming on just built enough pressure to open it put a noid light on the injector plug and see if iy blinks if not check the fuses and relays there is an injector relay

Re: won't start-no power to injector

Im having the same problem with a 97 chevy cavalier. It appears to be an anti-theft issue. not sure if your vehicle has the passlock anti-theft system or not. worth looking into. is there a theft security light that comes on on the dash? if it goes bad it cuts power to the injectors. there is a " relearn" procedure that you can do that might help. google passlock and there are many sites that will explain how to do it.

Re: won't start-no power to injector

I ha tried a noid lite hats how i know its not getting power. and I'm pretty sure there isn't a relay for the injector, if there is i have no idea where it would be, this car is almost too old too have injectors makes it really frustrating not knowing what is going on I have tried the internal diagnostics many times with no problem codes found. these earlier versions of pcm's were a real piece if you know what i mean. thank you though!!!!!!

Re: won't start-no power to injector

I just had a thought Ive had problems in the past5 with the iac but that wouldn't not make it run would it? not just that but why would jumping the oil pressure sensor wire make it run but then just not working after it dies again? and no i didn't leave it jumped i plugged it back in and it seemed to start fine until i pulled it in the store.
