2004 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 engine miss

I have a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire with 2.2 . Has engine miss, OBD codes 171, 301, 402 come up, I changed # 1 plug, changed module because I had an extra and no difference, #1 plug looked good engine will run very rough, then it will sometimes clear up and run great, anyone have any Ideas Thanks Nick

I think I would focus on the lean code and the EGR code. If the EGR is sticking open it will cause a rough idle. Typically your brake pedal will get really hard to push when this happens.

Chech for vacuum leaks especially around the intake and all the rubber vacuum hoses that are attached to the intake.
