2002 Grand Am GT Turn Signels

I am having a problem with my turn signels. They cut out at random when i'm using them. All bulbs are fine. The next thing I want to try and replace is the flasher fuse, however I cannot seem to find it. Can someone help me please?

Very common problem, flasher is built into the hazard switch.

Check online to see if yours is one with a recall. Alot of them had a recall for this. My nephew has a 2001 and his did. It will cover the part and labor to be fixed.

Replacing the fuse is totally useless since the problem is intermittent. The fuse can't be bad or blown.

It's either a bad contact in turn signal switch or in hazard switch. When problem happens, try to pull the turn signal switch against you a little bit (w/o activating the high beam) to see if it works. I had this problem with my Oldsmobile.
And test the hazard switch to see if it's not that the problem. If the 4 flashe, the problem is not the hazard switch, but the turn signal. Or a bad relay, but it's rare.

A Windstar without having the check engine light is not a real Windstar.

Re: 2002 Grand Am GT Turn Signels

Same thing happened with mine. the turn signals are on the same switch as the hazard lights and TCS switch. if you push down on the hazard light button, not push it in, but actually push it down, they will start to work. i took mine for the recall, but the previous owner already did, its just going out again. annoying, yes. Money to fix it myself... well idk cause idk how much it is.
