Question Power Steering Pulley Install

Had to take the power steering pulley off today. Sorta confused when it comes to putting it back on. The pump shaft has a hex opening on it when i expected to find a threaded hole. And the power steering pulley remove/installer only came with threaded bolts?? Do I need to get a hex fitting for the installer to work properly?
