Hill hold
I have a 01 century every time I come to a slight incline my car will not hold there it drifts backward so I have to press on the gas pedal to keep the rpms up any ideas what could be the problem.

All auto transmission cars do this to some extent. Some cars will drift backwars more readily than others, but all will move backwards if the hill is steep enough.
If the car rides and drives normally, then you do not have a problem. Just keep your foot on the brake until you are ready to go.
