New Ford Shelby Cobra dead?

I heard that the new Shelby A/C Cobra which was introduced about a year ago is dead and Ford isn't going to make it. I haven't found any sites backing this up but I was wondering if anybody knew anything about this.

All I heard was the Ford GT was dead now. They are going to replace it with a Daytona coupe style car. As far as I know the Shelby Cobra is still in the works.

the shelby cobra is still in the works but is being redesigned,, the ford gt is also being redesigned too. they should look a little better but nothing like the orginals.

I hope it gets redesigned. It looks pretty bad right now, nothing like the original. If it resembles the original 289/427, it'd be a lot better.

It would be great to see a new Shelby Cobra, but I can't imagine in this current economic environment that she'll be along any time soon. Keep your fingers crossed.
