03 yukon xl 4wd problems

The service 4wd light came on and shortly after I started to hear a roaring noise from the front left tire. I had it looked at and the diagnosis was a bad hub bearing. Could that cause the 4wd light to come on also? The 2 wheel high light stays illuminated and the truck will not shift into 4wd high or low.

With the bearing needing to be replaced, the 4x4 system will not allow the transfer case to engage for the front axles to spin. all the sensors read each other. the abs sensors in the bearings are connected with the pushbutton 4x4.
