2010 corola oem autostart problems

i just installed the remote start OEM on my 2010 corolla and I cant get it to program- the last few steps are to insert the key 6 times , open and close the door 7 time and wait for the immobilizer light to come on and off and one remove key and close hood and the blinkers should blink. - and that were it wont work... No blinking of the blinkers. everything up to that point works fine ? Please help ... Joe.
