Maybe, What year is "old", and what year are the heads?
If the heads and intake are both 1995 or older, you will be OK if you get the right intake gaskets.

Quaizee if I am not mistaken u can fit vortec heads on your 90 block, but nalgman what year is your 4.3 out of because older models than 90 or 89 i cant remember exactly have a diffrent degree angle and the heads from a vortec wont fit w/o major work
