Fuel Pump help

I was just wondering how hard it is to replace a fuel pump on my own, I've been hearing a load hum sound coming from my trunk for about a week and last night my car just kept stalling, early guess is the fuel pump is going, can only drive it a block or 2 before it sputters, have to shut it off and wait, getting it checked today, anyone have a guide or any helpful suggestions? thanks

Have you tested the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge?
