Question Brake Pedal Pad Rubber Cover

The cover on my brake pedal pad is worn down and smooth to the point of almost being slippery. Has anyone here replaced the pad? If so, where did you find the part? How do you replace it? Thank you.

Re: Brake Pedal Pad Rubber Cover

Usually the rubber wraps around the steel pedal. It can be peeled off. The new one can be made to wrap abound the steel pedal quite easily.

Re: Brake Pedal Pad Rubber Cover

If you have trouble installing the pad, boil it in water for a minute or two. That will make it pliable for an easier installation.
