rear defroster fuse

Which fuse is for the rear defrosters on a 1988 Caprice Classic? Owner manual doesn't list it as such.

the fuse cover should indicate the fuse...it will be 25 or 30amps..

make sure that the wire to rear heaters is not shorted out...if fuse blown...

make sure that the feed and ground is good at heater..if so you have an open defrosting grid ..this can be repaired..

Why don't you go pull each fuse individually until you find the one that, when pulled, the rear defroster doesn't work. Or pull them individually until you find one that's blown. There's two solutions to your problem.

I don't think your gonna find that bad fuse in the owners manual..best look in the fuse box ..should be 25 to 30amp ...no too many of those in there..

It's only been over a year and you still haven't checked the fuses???
