The New B-Body Pics

I said it was a 79 Pontiac Parisienne but i found out its actually a Bonneville...same thing though. And its the Brougham. Has the GARBAGE 301 (130hp stock, this thing makes 100 at best.) Wait till you see the air filter. The whole front windshield leaks like a siv, but it does run surprisingly well. I don't even wanna know what the oil looks like. And the old lady i got it from said how much she loved the car, yeah right? She didn't maintain it at all! And when i tell you this drives like a boat, this drives like a BOAT lol. it was so funny taking it home.

Only reason it looks so good is because it was still wet after i washed it. Can't wait to wax it. But it goes to show what a little maintenance will do...

This is a screen shot from a video, thats why the quality is bad. But look at that disgusting water!!

MOLDY seats!! I couldn't help but laugh at the 70's styling

Yeah, after further inspection its not salvagable as nice as it looks in the pictures..the entire rim around the front windshield is rotted and i mean ROTTED...no thanks to the vinyl top. The back window is probably in the same condition. So who knows whats under the carpet, which is completely soaked by the way, with how bad the rot is this car must have been leaking for at least 10 years. The engine runs great but it has no power at all (130hp) and crap mpg cuz its 2bbl so it aint worth taking that out. I think what i'm gunna do is part out whatever i can (i can probably use some of the trim for my caprice) and then use it in a DEMO derby! lol..as much as i hate ruining cars in general. I figured i could get the most money/enjoyment by parting it out and using it as a beater. Unless anyone wants it i guess?

I'd love a buick lesabre too..a very well-equipped car from the videos i've seen on youtube.

The frame is actually mint from what i can tell..the doors do have some rot, pretty bad in spots at the bottom. And you know what kills me? The lady said when she bought this car (used) about 20 years ago, the previous owner ALWAYS garaged it. And once she got a hold of it, it turned into this. It kills me knowing this could have had potential if she took care of it (just a little!). The big reason for its decline is that she kept it in her driveway...which is a dirt lot in the woods where it was never washed. Just pure neglect..can't believe she had still been driving it until now.

Re: The New B-Body Pics

i almost bought a 78 or 79 olds delta 88 with a 403... it was a baby blue two door with a white vinyl top and white vinyl interior lol... the guy wanted $1500 but it had the same issues with leaking around the rear window so the floor in the back was rotted out... but that 403 was a beast!

it looked kinda like this
