Smile Not Worried Anymore!!!

Remember when I started a thread a few days ago and was not to sure what to do cause i didn't think I could pay to go to school. Well I applied for a student loan without a cosigner the other day and was approved for it. Now I have the money to pay for college. So this January I will be leaving to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale to study Automotive Technology. This is the only school in Illinois that offers a bachelors degree in Auto Tech. I am one step closer to realizing my dream of opening up my performance auto shop.

Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

well guys got some news. I found a loan for school, if I go to Southern Illinois university it will be for management with an emphasis on entreprenurship. Didn't get into the auto program as i orginally thought only made it to the final selection pool. I found out they only accept 30 students in the fall and 9 in the spring, so I don't feel to bad about not getting in, but I switched over to management and got in. So if I go to college it will be for management so I will know how to open my own business, hopefully an automotive performance shop. I am still considering UTI, but not to sure. If I go to UTI I get to learn how to work on cars and how to build performance engines and such, but I won't get a grounding in business and won't know how to open my own shop. If I go to Southern Illinois University, I will learn how own and operate a business, but won't know jack about cars. Its a tough decision. What would you guys do? Your advice and comments will extremely helpful.
