problem shifting into first?

just recently whenever i try to shift into first, its really hard to get it into gear and i have to force it. ive been driving this car for over 2 years with it always being easy to shift into first. my car now has 93k mi on it. whats wrong with it? should i change out tranny fluid or clutch? or will a short shifter with bushings help?

dropping a couple grand of a down payment on a new Suzuki GSX-R could help that problem

Also some more smart ass comments:

Have you checked your blinker fluid?
What about your Hendrix gasket?
Or your flux capacitor?

As for the real question, I'm not sure? Could be a bad tranny, or the fact taht i have never really down shifted to first without going really really slow, or being at a complete stop...

first check your clutch fluid, if low refill then try shifting again. next if that didnt work, if you havent replaced the tranny fluid on 93k, then yes you should drain and refill the tranny fluid. if that doesnt work then go buy a short shifter and energy bushings for your shifter and replace it.

it's hard to get it into gear when you're doing 25 mph? 10 mph? or stopped?
if it's hard when you're going faster, that's normal, if it's still hard when you're going slow, then that's a problem.

its hard to get it into 1st from stop. like when you have it in neutral at stop, then shift into first.
