I hope this makes you smile at least... My girlfriend, a couple that we're friends with (that her and I set up) he being my good friend, her being hers, decided to take a trip to Atlanta to visit my best friend Josh that moved down there recently. Our plan, once in Atlanta, was to drive to Myrtle Beach (this was in Sept '02) and soak up some rays on the beach, rented a house, yata yata yata... Well. we (the 5 of us) pile into Josh's '96 G20t (tight squeeze) to set off on the 6 1/2 hour road trip to the beach. I'm driving, as Josh had a little problem with the law here in Colorado about 7 months ago and no longer has his license. Well, we're bombin along, I'm tryin to keep the speedometer round 85 to eliminate the amount of time we're in this confinement as much as possible. Well, I'm in the left lane on the open highway, when up ahead about 20 yards is a tinted out Z28 Camero. This guy, decides to get in the left lane (in front of me) at about 10 mph slower then I'm going. "#$%& this guy" I mutter to my self, and I cut into the right lane for a good old fashion right hand pass. I look at the "kid" in the Z28 as we pass, and he doesn't return the look..... "Whata jackass" I mutter to my self again, as I cut back in the left lane in front of him. Oh, low and behold, that Z28 is equipped with strobe headlights, and, oh, look at that! Red and Blue fog lights in the bumper! Sweet! I'm getting pulled over! Ugh!

State Trooper: Do you know how fast you were traveling?
Me:To be honest, my eyes were on the road, not the speedometer...
State Trooper: 96 mph. So, just swervin in and out of traffic, not payin attention huh?
Me: (what I wanted to say: Traffic!? There's no @#$%in' traffic. It's you, me, and, that's it!) What I really said: Really? That fast? Wow...
State Trooper: Really.. license and registration please
Me:Josh! Where's your registration?
State Trooper:Are you saying this isn't your car?
Josh: Actually, it's mine!
State Trooper: Why aren't you driving... ?
Josh: (doesn't reply, sinks into his back seat)
Me:Here's the registration! My license sir!
State Trooper: Where are you guys heading?
Me:South Carolina...
State Trooper: You're in South Carolina....
Me: Oh....

I felt so stupid... $150 later and I'm square with the S.C.H.P...

Thats funny and unfortunate at the same time $150 doesnt sound so bad for 96 mph though.

that happened to one of my dads friends before ...we were on our way to a car show and we were a lil late and we wanted to be there early to see everything..me and my dad were in my truck and my dads friend was in front of us in a 745i and we were cruising at around 90..and usually the highway patrol doesnt care much about it as long as you dont try and race or goof off..but all of a sudden we see a black Z06 fly up past us and next to my dads friend

the Z06 drops a gear and gets infront of the 745 and slows us to like 70...finally the jerk in the z06 tries to race the 745..and they went @ it ... all of a sudden out of a ditch a z28 camero flies out and pulls them over..well it turns out that the guy in the z06 was a rookie highway cop and wasnt putting up with ne shit from us..

needless to say... 400 dollars later...we were @ the auto show
