64 Fairlane Brakes

I am having trouble with my 64 fairlane. When I start it up the brake pedal sucks down to the floor. It has power brakes and the reservoir is full.
Any ideas?
It hasn't been driven in years.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Darrin

Re: 64 Fairlane Brakes

Does the reservoir stay full after pumping the pedal a few times?
If yes, then your master cylinder has an internal leak, most likely due to bad seals and-or a rusty bore. It needs rebuilding or replacing.

If no, then obviously something is leaking fluid like a broken brake line or bad wheel cylinder.
