No spark/start after water pump replacement

[1970Cutlass]

1999 Chevy Malibu 2.4L. Ran fine need a water pump, changed the water pump but did not replace the timing chain. I did not move the cams or crank during the install of the water pump. Prior to the repair I disconnected the battery, negative side. I unplugged the O2 sensors and the ignition pack. Everything went back together as is should. When I went to start the car I could hear the fuel pump start, the engine would crank but it does not appear to be getting any spark. Any help would be appreciated.
