How much can my 95 Lesabre carry?
I am going across country in my 95 Lesabre Limited and I have some stuff to carry. How much weight can it realistically carry? My GVRW? tag is missing on the door jamb. Thanks for any help.

I once had 9 people and a pony keg in a 1954 VW Bug (Ovel Window, Sema Fours, Full Sun Roof).
There was one problem I found. When we got done, I had a whole in the floor the size of the battery. The battery was pushed through and was being dragged by the cables. Put it back in and everything was fine. Chris.

Thank you, Gentlemen, I appreciate the help. Jrs3800, I knew that the trunk was supposed to have 178 lbs. max from Drivers Manual, but was not sure about the passenger spaces. Thanks.

As a follow-up to my question, I did make the trip from Northern California to Central Arkansas with my 95 Lesabre Limited. We had two passengers on board, lots of luggage and tools in back seat and 175 lbs. in trunk. I guessed that we were carrying approx. 750-800 lbs. Car rode very well, averaged 30-31 mpg, and made an easy trip. Thanks.
