IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 1998 TOWNCAR 4.6 VIN W AND A 1998 CROWN VIC P71 VIN CODE W? CAN I THROW IT IN A TOWNCAR USING ALL THE TOWNCAR WIRING -COMPUTER ETC? IS THE INTAKE AND ELECTRONIC ALL THE SAME ON THE ENGINE OR WILL I HAVE TO SWAP THE INTAKE/EXHAUST. MOST SLAVAGE YARDS SAY THAT THE POLICE MOTOR WILL NOT INTERCHANGE? THANKS FOR THE INPUT- ANY ADVICE CAN HELP-THANKS

If the town car motor is a 4 cam engine. The CVPI is a 2 cam engine. You will probably need all wiring and PCM.
