Getting new paint soon..i have questions

I'm a little worried that my car would not be "worth" painting. The WHOLE bottoms of every door is rotted out but there is no visible rust, i need a new trunk lid too cause thats gone but thats an easy fix. However, i'm not sure if any of you remember but i also have rot issues under that spacer between the rear window and the trunk lid (rot goes right up to the window on the left side). If i want this fixed the right way i think i'd have to take out the window.

So i know it could be a lot worse because my frame is solid but what do you guys think? i know of an 84 caprice that i'm very close to buying for parts thats going for cheap $$. The car has no rust so i figure i can simply swap out the doors and trunk lid no prob.

For the paint color, people are saying i should stay with a similar color to what i have. I sort of agree because i think its kind of cool that everyone knows my car for its unique color...except if i'm being chased by the cops lol.

This begs the question of whether it would be easier to work on the '84 and use the '83 for the parts donor car.

Yeah thats what i was thinking sadly...its funny because my car only has 58k on it. and the 84 has 128k and yet its in better condition body-wise. My 83 has a lot of sentimental value but oh well, we'll see on monday if the 84 goes for cheap enough since its at an auction.
