Toyota Camry No Spark

A friend ran my 4-cyl 94 Camry almost completely out of gas, when I fired it up to run it to the gas station it lit right up, and as soon as I got it into drive it went two feet and stalled. The car would crank, but never fire after that. After filling up the tank it still wouldn't start, I assumed that the fuel pump was dead, so I replaced the fuel pump. That didn't work, so I replaced the fuel filter and so on.... finally I decided to check my plugs, much to my surprise I have no spark. So I checked all my relays and fuses, they all check out.

Long story short, I'm getting no voltage going to the coil... and at this point I'd like to just jump 12 volts (switched) to the coil, and call it a day. The problem is, the coil has four wires going to it, I've been trying to determine how to hook this up... any ideas??? This car has been driving me nuts for a week now, please help!!! I'll be eternally grateful.

Thanks

Cedric

Re: Toyota Camry No Spark

I would just replace the coil. It is a common problem in that engine. Use a Toyota coil.
