I'm surprised Revell AG doesn't do many, if any, revisits to their cars.

I'd think they'd do quite well with a full-detail 575 or 550 from the Superamerica tool. I think the SA itself is dodgy enough in styling and appeal that it hurt sales.

And Tamiya...nobody has yet to figure them out. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for a new kit other than they seem to develop kits that someone inside the company personally likes, vs. any formula of what they've done in the past. The DBS is a fluke and a nice surprise, and I won't bother anticipating whatever comes next. You won't ever catch US model companies surprising the world with an all-new & desirable kit that is fully developed and nearly ready for sale.

Yeah, why is Tamiya waiting to August to release the DBS when it is pretty much ready for sale?!

I have no idea; I didn't know they had set a date. I have plenty to keep me well occupied until that time, I'll be patient

I noticed that too. Revell doing a curbside? That's just wrong! I'm glad they're doing DTM cars, but I would love it if they have have engines and suspension. However, I do understand the privacy of the design of the real car.

In these pictures I can't see any sign that make me think about the possibility that those kits will have an engine ....

Re: Tamiya/Revell News 2010

The Corvette C5-R was a one piece body with an engine hidden under it, would they make that same mistake?...

Re: Tamiya/Revell News 2010

I sure hope, Tamiya will release the Aston! It's about friggin' time they did something "different". I think it's not yet confirmed, but I sure as hell will buy 1 or 2 when it gets released, no matter what You say! Revell could also speed up the SLS release, can't wait to get my hands on that Merc!

The DTM's have got some many canards and winglets, maybe it's there! Nah, maybe a lot is under the skin in the interior or suspension/undertray?

When is the reserve list!??
