I agree with ashman, as i too think this would be a very profitable car for any plastic company, so why isn't there one? Well soon there will be one and only one.

Watching this thread is just awesome. I got my popcorn ready. Its amazing how the parts come out so perfect. Never stop, keep us updated even with the smallest updates.

PS. Mugenhb, just one small piece takes 4-7 hours to mill. So i think that kit in the end would cost you twenty times more than a s27 kit would.

Little update.
Now I have little problems with machining, because of work changing. But now I have access to this 3D-printer: http://www.objet.com/3D-Printer/Objet_Eden350_Eden350V/
At first I have made two small parts: a front bumper and a rear diffuzer.

So, I'll continue this theme only with the GTR version. The road version will be described in a separate WIP.
My brother was find some free time to do other 3D GTR parts. Now, CAD model almost ready, and I can continue to work. I want to finish the building in 2011.

Do you really have 100 thousand Euro to buy the same printer? I don't have too. But I have access to this.

Well, stratos75, your way of playing with "high-tech" devices
gives me the chill', the thrill and the desire to make a 3D model
of my wanted parts too, just by looking at your build. I'd make
a 3D model of a part or two too but I'm waiting for a 36hrs long day.
I own a Studio27 kit of McLaren GTR F1 too, but it's
a "Ueno Clinic" version. I guess I'm saving it for the future
because I don't want to mess it's build with a lack of experience.

Your work is very inspiring! You sure are taking modelling hobby to a new level.
