95 Civic EX No Start
Hello everyone, new to the Honda side of life, coming from an old 3.8 in a Buick. Anyways, I recently acquired a 95 Civic EX with a 1.6 litre VTEC and an Auto. The car won't start, I was informed by a mechanic who hates his job that it was the ignition control module. I replaced that and the car still has no spark. I can smell fuel when I take the plugs out. Any ideas what this can be. I have heard on here before that it could be the main relay. Could someone explain to me how to check this out, and where it's located. Also how much one of these cost.
Thank you very much!

Re: 95 Civic EX No Start
after you turn your key on to ignition,(a couple seconds later) you can actually hear the relay click at that time the check engine light is suppose to go out.. listen for the click

Re: 95 Civic EX No Start
I ended up fixing my problem, so I thought I'd let everyone know just in case anyone has a similar problem.
I replaced both the Ignition Control Module and the Ignition Coil, and like a swiss watch, my Honda started right up. Now I'm not sure if it was just the coil, or both of the parts, but my problem is now solved.
