I didn't knew that contest, so it was somekind of funny reliaze the same kind of comment under the picture.

Anyway, my thoughts were mostly here at Finland. Where every Ferrari and Lamborghini is rare sight on the mirrows. Just can't imagine how I could feel if notised from the mirrow an Orange McLaren F1 approaching left side.....

I have thoughts, that it might be somewhere near the McLaren's factory.
It defenitely was Autumn I think, near end of the 1995 Year. And the environment looks very much possible UK location?
Sami, the 1st pic could be the same place where they initially shot the Clinic Model before its release - Penryhn Quarry in Wales

The 2nd pic could be anywhere, but could be near the Chobham Proving ground near the Woking factory

OK, that's what I have thought also. "Top secret" places.
Well, maybe someday this all will be clear.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Just got this one from the post.
Very detail indeed, more images than I expected. And seems very much considered what they have been shot and which angle.
Defenitely worth of getting!
I found this at 9€ from Ebay, and it might be again on sale there.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

After reading this very interesting forum for a few years, now it's time for my very first posting.

Last week I bought my first original F1 part; a GTR head lamp unit.
I bought it on internet from a guy who told me that he got it from his uncle who's an official at Spa-Francorchamps, and that it's from a crash in 1997.
I'm almost sure it is the one from chassis 022R (see text on the back), and: GTR ‘97 22R Pale Blue/Metallic Brown Gulf Team Davidoff.

Is here somebody with pictures from the crash in the first corner, La Source hairpin at Spa, in 1997 Fia GT race when the 3 Gulf Davidoff McLarens crashed out of the race together
And some more info, would be nice too.
Thanks.

Where did you hide the rest of the car?

That would make a great beer tap for three different beers, but you'd need to put some plastic tubes inside of it!
