01' LX Transmossion not shifting... P0730
Throwing a p0730 code - Faulty transmission control module. The car drives find here and there but there are time when i reverse out and then drive the car wont go. But it happens here and there. So i just want to double check here and see if i need to replace the Trans shifter control mod?

Your clutch packs inside the transmission are done for. No external parts replacements is going ot fix it. It's a common problem with these cars. Mine just went out this week and I was waiting for it since about 80K. I know have 133K on the car.
Bottom line...you need to rebuild or get a different transmission.
