Removing starter 1999
Im replacing the motor in my 1999, 2.2L.
How does that starter unbolt? Strangest attachment. How many bolts on that thing? |

i think theres 3 unless theres a bracket still on there? if your going to keep this car buy a haynes manual for that car or go on line on autozone.com and look up your starter and it will show you or if you have a buddy he can print it out for you at autozone.

I have a manual and I don't understand where the bolts are. I see a bolt sticking up from the trans on top. Are there 2 others below?
++++++++++++++++++ Got it. Was helpful to look at a new starter at Autozone. There is a shield in front of it and couldn't see it. That online Autozone manual is great. Take a look at it if you haven't seen it. Last edited by Jmrec100; 02-15-2010 at 10:39 PM. |
