What transfer case.
STD or AUTO4W button on shifting panel?

Any lights flashing or on?

Does front drive shaft lock in?

233 or the AUTO4W?

Have you felt the drive shaft for locking in?

The Automatic 4W has the Auto4W button on it.
On back of transfer case there is a ID tag.

For a 233 you can ground pin 13 and get codes.
The Auto4W requires a transmission/transfer case scanner to test and get code.
For a 233 go to this link.

Fluid level should always be checked.
What transfer case do you have?
Any transfer case codes?
