About 3 months ago, the keyless entry system started working erratically. Both key fobs would work sometimes and sometimes not. I changed the batteries in both of them and everything seemed to work fine for a few weeks, then the same problem.
Now, they both completely don't work. Is this a problem of the key fobs or something in the car? BTW, I searched the FAQs and all I could find was about programming new keyless fobs. |

Re: 2003 Camry Keyless Entry Not Working
Not sure, but it might be your battery problem.

You mean battery in the car - it is working fine...I had it replaced not 8 months ago.
Just to be sure, I went to WalMart and bought new batteries for both key fobs and it still did not work. What possibly could be wrong?

Re: 2003 Camry Keyless Entry Not Working
My aftermarket alarm sometimes has hick ups and I have to reprogram both remotes.
If you have a factory installed alarm, have you checked www.camrystuff.com? Sam

Did you perhaps get the remotes wet? Maybe leave them in the pocket of pants that went through the washing machine?
