Heated seats. GMC Jimmy
I have a 1999 GMC Jimmy. The passenger heated seat works fine, but there is no heat from the drivers seat.
All the other elect seat functions work fine on both seats It appears there is only one fuse for both seats. Any suggestions please? Thanks.. Lofty |

Roll the heating element from the passenger seat to the drivers seat.

I thought of that...... but didn't have the guts to run it by my wife!
Good suggestion though!

Re: Heated seats. GMC Jimmy
Maybe, you can get a passenger seat heat element from a salvage yard.

This makes less than no sense, why wouldn't you suggest he replace the faulty driver's side with parts that will actually fit it ie: driver's side element.....

Re: Heated seats. GMC Jimmy
There's less wear + tear on a used passenger seat heating element, it just needs a modification.
