86 parisienne engine swap 307 to 350sbc

i have a 350sbc im trying to put into my parisienne i have the chevy motor mounts my mechanic said he dropped the motor in but the motor was up out the car so much that i wouldn't be able to close my hood ........ do anyone know whats the problem

Find a '77-'87 Caprice and take ALL the mounting hardware from it. Note the location where the frame "pads" were mounted. They share the same frame, so it's got to be the location. The Olds mounting points are different.
