Oil leak; might be intake gasket

Last week I noticed a puddle of oil under my 02 GP GT 3.8L. Turns out it was a quart low. It looks like the oil is running down the front of the motor. I think it's the intake gasket. Is there any way to check this with a little more certainty before I just buy a chilton's manual and replace the gasket.

Thanks

If by "front of the motor" you mean where the pulleys are then it could be the oil pressure sending unit. It's located just above the oil filter.

If by "front of the motor" you mean under the valve covers and over the exhaust manifold then I would suspect your valve cover gaskets, since there is a recall campaign for leaking valve cover gaskets.
