96 CVPI dies while driving down the road

I've got a problem. My son turned this car over on its top a while back and ever since then, it has developed this problem of just completely "shutting down" all electrical functions and dying. I will be driving along and everything just goes completely dead. It only lasts for a few seconds and will always restart. But the radio stations all need reprogrammed and clock reset. It's like there is a complete power-outage. No codes are thrown either.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Has the battery been changed? Turning it on its top may have broken plates loose and jarring cause it to die. just spitting in the wind
