2007 Ram 1500 suddenly won't crank or start

Unlocked the cab, jumped in, and turned the key to start position - won't crank or turn over - no noise - nothing. The vehicle had been started and driven an hour earlier.

Strangely, afterwards the door locks would not unlock or lock with the key. All electric is working fine and normally otherwise - lights, radio, door locks (with interior door switch) all work. Tried other key and jump start - no luck.

Security system? If so, that would be my guess.

All said and done, if you're inside your 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty, get it back to the dealer.
