Mounts, a bit confused, how many and where
2002 2.0
so, I have replaced the upper(very top, pass. side, just above the belts and connects to the upper strut area. also a lower one, pass. side. runs along the inner fender well, but still easy to get at. I know some call or confuse the trans mount with a motor mount but please correct me. I there a third on the front of the engine that people call hidden and requires removing the steering pump, belt and a few other things? also is there a trans mount somewhere? do they all have the inner rubber bushing that seems to wear out? |

Re: Mounts, a bit confused, how many and where
Go to the parts store and ask to look at the mounts. They should have a picture you can look at that shows location. I would think you would have 4 mounts total. Front and back of transmission case close to motor ,end of transmission, and front of motor.
Not certain on a Dodge. |
