Steering Wheel doesn't lock...

Over the past few days I've had issues with my key turning to start up my truck. Seeing this issue posted like 1000 time here I knew there was a screw that was loose. So I removed a couple plastic pieces and found the loose screw and tightened it up. Problem solved.


But ... also when I first notice this key issue I noticed that when I removed the key and pulled on the steering wheel it didn't lock any more. I could turn it and here the wheel turning.

any clue as what could be going on?
