2001 Rodeo 4wd problems

Hello,

I tried doing a search but, I couldn't the same problem exactly... but, I have a 2001 Rodeo LS 4wd, and when I shift into 4wd, sometimes it would completely pop out of drive. Now if I try to disengage the 4wd, it won't do it unless I throw her into reverse, or turn the steering almost to lock. I have had the front drive shaft actuator replaced, and now they threw on a new transfer case and motor and it's made it worst... now it pops out of drive all the time. Any one have any ideas?? This is my actual dealership and they're totally out of ideas.

Thanks everyone.

David

Re: 2001 Rodeo 4wd problems

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but they actually tested this and said it was fine. The 4wd work engages and disengages fine when the truck is on a hoist, but not when it's on the ground. So, they did check the vacuum lines.
